Old AVS have encoding cp1251 for Subtitle.

I tried cp1251 and UTF8 encoding for AVS++, but still have nonsense like that.

How do you use SubTitle when using utf8?

Hmm... Demo AVS file attached.

File is UTF8 w/o BOM. That's all right. But you missed utf8=true. I feel the pain, we have a couple of accented characters as well, that's why I put utf8 support in SubTitle, though normally ANSI works but sometimes you have to mix the character sets. http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Subtitle (There is no other real utf8 support in Avisynth, aside from utf8 path and file name support in source and import filters)

Sorry, I missed new parameter for Subtitle. The bug can be closed.

BTW, if any way to make AVS+ portable (setting environment variables, «PATH» — OK, for ffmpeg/VD/MPV process — OK, make global registry hardcoding — not OK)?
