[SUGGESTION] IR loading and EQ integration #1

Hi there, this project seems very interesting !

For advanced audio applications (such ad multimedia-phile and professional playback) it would be great to have a system-wide EQing and IR loading abilities.

You certainly know the well-known Equalizer APO project that is great, but more headphone-listening oriented.

Check out the HyMPS project's Tools page for a nice list of resources that may help/inspire you.

Last but not least, I strongly suggest you to establish some kind of collaboration with ReactOS (= open source Windows clone) that may help to evolve both projects.

Thanks a bunch for the great suggestions and for checking out the project! I’m really glad you like it. The ideas about system-wide EQ and IR loading sound pretty awesome.

Just so you know, I’m not actively working on this right now, but your feedback is super useful and might ignite some future work. The ReactOS collaboration idea is a cool one too!
