Cool Stuffs for Home Page

Some ideas for tweaking front page:

• [ ] Front page: two (alternating) versions of front page, one for UCB students in fall, one for high school students nearing spring.

• [ ] The front page [UCB ver] would have project descriptions to inform/ interest new staff. Perhaps also a description of mission statement and sponsors. Consider overlap between "About Us".

• [ ] Front page "splash" image could instead have side-scrolling automatic slideshow, with comments that describe what the photos are about, i.e. "2012 competition", or "[school's] [year's] team"

• [ ] Front page could have events calendar (or simple jumbotron announcements to let students know when the infosessions are)

Tweaking Join Us

• [x] Modifying "Join Us" page to be more modern-looking, less paragraph-heavy.

• Alternating homepage might be hard to maintain manually
• Automatic slideshow is cool but not necessarily that helpful, but can keep idea on hold
• Events calendar is pretty cool too but not necessarily that helpful
