Animation trigger requests #1920

With the new model system it should be quite easy to have several animations that are triggered in different circumstances:

These are all paired, but I think it would be good to allow modellers to provide a separate animation for each direction if they want to. In most cases they can just provide one and we can play it in reverse where necessary.

@jpab: I'll model something this week for those you mentioned, to have something to work with, if it's good for you. (Well, at least for the things directly related to ships, I can't promise I can touch the stations yet.) Is it enough if I list each animation in the model file in the same way as the gear animation, like docking: 100 200 etc?

It has a door animation from 51 to 100. Only a simple two key linear interpolation. The gear animation is 0 to 50. I haven't touched the lower lods. modelviewer-20131021-111546. Hope this helps.

Awesome idea! What about the plasma and flames of re-entry? That would be an awesome effect. If you're going fast enough through any atmosphere on any planet, you'd create this effect.
