Thank you for your suggestion. Different returns would definitely help to see how things change. I suppose this could be achieved in two ways. One way would be to display a percentage increase/decrease in the given period. Another, to show a line/sparkline graph for the trend. Did you have anything specific in mind?

I must admit I have many open-source projects that require my attention and will take a lot of time to get done. In particular, I'm focusing my efforts on releasing tty. Currently, this project is not my priority. This is a balancing act. I wish I had a better and more satisfactory answer.

What I can offer is a review if you decided to submit implementation yourself.
