Channel switching (+1/-1) does not behave like native vdr #107

If VDR is recoring and all devices are in use you can still switch channels which transmit at the same transponder. This works as well in xvdr but does not work if you are zapping through channels. VDR would simply skip the non viewable channel. XVDR falls back to channel list and stops replaying. From there you have to manually select a viewabel channel but this is hard to explain to the oridnary user. Which channel is when usabeable when recording an other channel.

I'm sorry, but XBMC is not native VDR. I just can use the interfaces provided by XBMC and XBMC doesn't handle this case at all.

Well, seems like there is a upcomming change. xbmc.org reads:

"... PVR In PVR news, there an Electronic Program Guide (or EPG) button has been added to the Home Screen as a submenu item for Live TV, so that users can now have easy access to a list of all upcoming content. Additionally, when tuning a channel that isn’t currently working, XBMC will now be able to show what channel you’ve landed on. ..."

Never heard of that before. AFAIK, there isn't any API change handling this. Maybe XBMC will be able to handle it.
