EPG load on inital start doesn't work as expected #45

Closed carsten12 closed 12 years ago

When I start OpenELEC, XBMC will load the EPG. In cases where it doesn't hang (see other issue), but weems to work perfectly, EPG seems not to load actual, but only entries that are in future.

When I use the System/Live TV/EPG Menu to delete/reload EPG, everything is as expected.

Find a log in here: http://pastebin.com/DpwstPBb and here: http://pastebin.com/HXKgFPE3

This still happens, even after the changes we did during fixing the other issues

Issue still exists with updated addon and latest openELEC build based on XBMC-pvr cbe2cf3.

Are you using git version 2092074 of the addon (is equal to 0.9.5.20120127) ?

carsten12 commented 12 years ago

Yes.

It is more complicated. As you know, there are several ways to look at the EPG. After a Start, there is nothing in the channel list view. When looking at the EPG view, there will be entries for next (4hours ahead), nothing currently listed, but everything in the timeline.

Maybe an XBMC Problem?

As said, a reload of the EPG is solving all these issues.

Just tried the OpenELEC 9700 generic build on a second system from the scratch and everything works as expected. I guess I have to check (and eventually erase) all config files and retry on the ION system...

everything fine after a reset of th tv db.
