I get this in my log ever 2 seconds while watching a channel.. Is this normal? Can I disable this?

Hi,

also experiencing things like this, does not happen on all channels though (and additionally have been too lazy to report this yet :) .

This gets spammed to the system log (logged today) when watching ProSieben delivered via Unitymedia/Germany cable (DVB-C):

Two additional things are happening/caused by this:

When choosing the AC3/Dolby Digital audio track, my AVR appears to get "nervous" by the signal (using S/PDIF passthrough); I get an audio dropout every second (well, everytime the message gets logged). When soft-decoding (audio output: analog), audio is continuous, but there's audible distortion every second (seems like the softdecoder ignores frame crc-check failures or so, so the stream gets at least decoded).
If I let the TV station run for long enough (this time it ran about 35minutes), chances are high that VDR ends itself (crashes?) completely and gets automatically restarted by the runvdr script (provided by the yaVDR packages). Interestingly, nothing special gets logged when that happens, only runvdr reports "Sep 3 19:08:27 barias runvdr: restarting VDR".

Mostly all other (there are 1-2 more, and some scrambled/PPV channels I cannot check due to missing subscription :) channels don't show that behaviour and can of course be watched for hours, channel switches don't do any harm to VDR.

Ubuntu 12.04 64bit, fully patched, vdr-1.7.27, vdr-plugin-xvdr GIT-master-98e1ea1 as of Jun 25, clientside xbmc-addon-xvdr GIT-eden-75445e7 as of Apr 1.

If you need a dump of the transport stream (how to best create one?), please let me know!

Sorry for bumping, but as VDR crashes on this, this can be annoying at times. No idea? Any hints where to start?
