Changing fonts, most appropriate image sizes, managed WP hosting (sustainable data centers? also, constantly being on up-to-date PHP is better for energy usage), etc.

Recommended plugins incl. Wordfence, server caching, related, etc.

Maybe a “Your responsibilities” section. So if someone is using the theme, they know that it’s their responsibility to maintain the accessibility of their colors, to add alt text to every image. Their responsibility to make sure they're not using dumb image sizes that take up way too much energy.
