Date object not an object any more #454

I had used a forked version for a long time, but it was getting too old. Now that I come back to this master version, I notice that when the date object option is selected, the device class is now 'date' and not timestamp any more. This is unfortunate, because I appreciated to have the UI showing 'next week', 'in two days', 'tomorrow', etc. automatically. Now it just shows an iso formatted string '2024-01-31'. Would it be possible to have the timestamp back please, so that it is correctly interpreted in the UI?
