Repeated mail notification #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Receive an OKCupid message
2. Click on the notification in Pidgin
3. Hit "close" (or just the X on the notification tab)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The notification goes away but then pops back up a few seconds later, as
though new messages had been received. As this causes the Buddy List to
continuously flash, it's rather annoying.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Pidgin 2.5.7 with OKCupid plugin version 1.2
Windows 2000 Pro

Should be fixed in the next version of the plugin.  Will also show you a 
snippet of 
the inbox message
