About:config setting #31

I just curious about your advice on the addon page.

NOTE: This project seems needless on Firefox 60 and later. You just go to about:config and turn browser.urlbar.openintab to true. See also the bug 1394304 - Support always open urlbar result in a new tab.

I've tried all the about:config tweaks, as far as I know. Without the addon installed, regardless of whether I have "browser.urlbar.openintab" true or false, the only way I can open a link in a new tab from the search bar is to "middle click" on the "Submit search" button.

However, if install the "New Tab from Location Bar" addon, it works with a left click

Windows 10m pro, Fx 65

You may need to set browser.search.openintab to true for the search bar.
