Won't Open URL in FIrefox 17.0.0 and 17.0.1 #4

After entering a URL into the location bar, I hit enter and nothing happens. No new tabs. No refreshes. Nothing. I can even click on the right arrow (go button) and nothing happens.

If I disable the add on and restart Firefox, then everything works except of course, I loose the functionality of opening a new tab from the location bar.

The problem started when I upgraded to Firefox 17.0.0. It continues to be a problem in Firefox 17.0.1. It was working fine with FIrefox 16.x.

Do you use AdBlock Plus? See #2

I use AdBlock Plus. I switched from AdBlock version 2.2.1 to 2.1.2 and that solved the problem. I then upgraded back to 2.2.1 and enabled “Correct mistyped internet addresses”. This also solved the problem.
