Breaks location bar in Firefox 31, Firefox won't terminate #6

In Firefox 31 this add-on breaks the location bar on my setup - I can't select a URL from history or enter a new one - when I hit Enter (or Alt-Enter) nothing happens.

When I exit Firefox after doing this the window disappears but the process remains.

This happens in both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 Update 1.

If I type a few characters into the location bar and then Ctrl-Click on the dropdown it will correctly open the selected URL in a new tab. The problem occurs when I just click on a URL to select it. Pasting a new URL into the box doesn't work either.

I'm going to close this issue as I found a solution. Completely uninstalling and then reinstalling Firefox 31 fixed the problem. This was suggested in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1014331
