Hello, I'd like to request a feature, although I understand that it might not be a trivial request.
I feel a sizable amount of piskel's users are intending to make pixel art reminiscent of the graphics of old video games, which is why I'd like to request for the ability to make the canvas have each pixel unit have a non-square aspect ratio, as this is what many old video games did. Being designed for CRT tvs, older video games output video signal in such a way that only each vertical row of pixels had a "hard interrupt". on the other hand, horizontal scanlines were continuous until they were intentionally interrupted by a color change or empty space. (for a better explanation, see this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHfPA4n0TRo)
To my knowledge, piskel doesn't have any way of drawing with non-square aspect pixels, which I feel would be a worthwhile for those looking to recreate the look of various old video games.
