won't convert epw files

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I am going through the su2ds tutorial in sketchUp.
2.At step 5, I follow all the steps and choose to load an epw file for my 
weather data.
3. A box appears asking if I want to convert it to a wea file. I click yes.
4. Nothing happens from there. I get no "export completed" box.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect a folder to be created with the data I need for Daysim. Instead a 
folder is created, but its empty. 
If I import a wea file directly (instead of converting a epw) a header file is 
created as its supposed to be. But I can only find a wea file for AUstralia 
which does not help in Ohio.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using Google SketchUp 7.1, Daysim 2.0 or 3.1, su2ds on windows 7 on a MAC 
using VM Fusion

Please provide any additional information below.
Please help me either figure out why this is not working or direct me to where 
I can find Ohio wea files.

i had the same problem. it works for me if I place the epw file on the local HD 
root c:\

Did anyone resolve this? Experiencing it now with sketchup 8. :/ And placing 
the epw file in root did not fix it. Empty folders..
