Docker image size #915

Hi. I wanted to let you know that the latest docker image grew to 3.7GB in image size, which makes integrating this in a CI pipeline a bit more difficult because it can be slow to pull in if the image is not cached on a worker.

We have created an issue in Pivotal Tracker to manage this. Unfortunately, the Pivotal Tracker project is private so you may be unable to view the contents of the story.

The labels on this github issue will be updated when the story is started.

Hey @jenssegers ! We have had this on our radar for a bit to try to reduce the size of the image but we haven't got around to it. We would welcome any PRs to help get this done quicker but it is something we are looking to do!
