Random thoughts and suggestions #151

Ok, so i was wondering if it is or not possible to remove artists thats only on compilations from artists list in library? Because i got alot of alternative time cds with random artists i dont have other albums from. And i dont wanna see those 500-600 (100 cds with 20 songs or so from random artists) artists in my artist list.

Also i want to be able to see visualstyle/movie in the background when im in settings/homemenu/browsing movie (more transperacy on menus)

Also want to be able to see episode information if i pause an tv-show episode so i can know if its the wrong episode or if i just want to know more about the plot.

One last thing i want to request as well is the adding of filename in information when browsing movies. It could easily be hidden somewhere in the info when pressing i somewhere.

Ok, you got my i got one lasty last thing i want added and that is support for youtube trailers on the information screen. I mean if its still being developed, if not the just fuck it if there isent an alternative announced).

Thanks for you time if you took your time to read this, other wise it makes me sad to see you skipping some users thoughts because they have asked stupid questions and what not. - yes i know i suck but i just started using xbmc and all this shit 1 month ago. So dont give me your xbox classic media center experience and think you are all better than me. When in reality xbmc lives on because of the new people like me) and i hope my ideas might help you along the way of creating the ultimate xbmc theme.

You know what they say, a good ui is one you dosent notice :D!

1) there´s an xbmc option for that (in music settings) 2) will think about the vizualisation feature (perhaps makin the option in the shutdown menu global?) 3)about transparency: perhaps we should make a global option for that, too 4)plot will definitely not be included in the seekbar, perhaps in the info screen. 5)filename in infoscreen makes sense to me. will add that 6)youtrailer isn´t dharma-compatible till now, I´m sorry.

1) Ok i think i saw it and activated it and i still got some left i think.

2) Yeah cause thats what the shutdown menu kinda says imo.

3) Yeah that would be really awesome, maybe an option to set the transparency settings?

4) Yes thats exactly what i meant :) and some transparency to that as well maybe haha :p

6) Oh ok, but is the creater working on it or? Maybe he could give you some alphacode so you could try implenting it now so its a done deal when he releases it.
