"Hide menu bar icon" does not persist (likely my fault) #15

Mute Me always shows in the menu bar when it first starts up.

I can tick the "Hide menu bar icon" option, and it will correctly disappear, but once I quit and restart the app the option is disabled again and the menu bar icon is present.

I may have screwed something up by trying to sync ~/Library/Containers/pixel-point.mute-me-now/Data/Library/Preferences/pixel-point.mute-me-now.plist across multiple machines.

But even after deleting ~/Library/Containers/pixel-point.mute-me-now/, ~/Library/Application Scripts/pixel-point.mute-me-now, and its temporary directory under /private/var as well as reinstalling the app, my preferences don't persist.

And I don't even see ~/Library/Containers/pixel-point.mute-me-now/Data/Library/Preferences/pixel-point.mute-me-now.plist anymore, but now see a ~/Library/Containers/pixel-point.mute-me-now/Data/Library/Preferences/pixel-point.mute-me-now.LSSharedFileList.plist which is symlinked to ../../../../../Preferences/pixel-point.mute-me-now.LSSharedFileList.plist, which does not exist.

It seems to work on other computers, but I can't find what remaining files may still be contaminating my environment. Any ideas?

Hello @kibiz0r. Thank you for an issue but we can't reproduce this behavior. I am closing this issue but let us know if you still have this problem.

That's fine. I don't even try to sync that plist anymore.
