Icon in touch bar not reflecting state properly #42

I have a 2018 macbook pro running Mac OS Mojave.

When I plug my headset to the mac having the icon in the touch bar showing the mic as muted, the headset mic connects as un-muted but the icon in the touch bar does not reflect the status, it remains in red as if the mic were muted.

It happened to me a couple of times that I joined calls thinking that I was muted but it was not the case.

This is a pretty annoying behavior, the icon should at least show as unmuted when a new output device is connected. Other way the state of the icon in the touch bar becomes unreliable.

Thanks!!

We are happy to announce new version of the app which currently we distribute as a separate application https://mutify.app/

You can try it for free with 7-days trial and get 50% discount with promo code: MUTEME

However, the existing opensource version will stay forever free.

@lnikell The paid Mutify app seems to go over all input devices including the aggregated device created via Audio Midi Setup. This causes problem as I have some virtual devices combination defined for recording (using iShow Capture etc) and then cant be mute and I see on e dialog per su h aggregated device that Mutify failed to mute it. I don't this happening in free app as it seems to just mute default input. Is it possible in paid app to add ignore any aggregated devices (Preference option)?
