At the moment you can tag others in a photo but it appears you can't tag yourself: your own username is never suggested.
If this feature is added I would prefer you dont receive a notification when tagging self. This is something Instagram does. IG makes no distinction between others tagging you and you tagging yourself. IMHO i dont think notifications should occur for the latter.
