Google Beta: Not possible to create a new direct message. #74

Maybe I just can't find it, but I don't see any way to create a new direct message. I can see and reply to received DMs but there is no button to create a DM.

Ist #75 the recommended way to create a new DM or should there be a dedicated Button?
