Teensy 3.2 with SmartShield V4 SD Card Problem #18

I wired up my sd card adapter to the smartshield v4 but I am not seeing any output for a gif. I also tried running the sdcard info program with no output. It just says that I need to press the program button (which I have)

This sounds like a Teensy/wiring problem, not SmartMatrix Shield problem.

Which pins did you use for wiring up the SD adapter? You'll need to use the same pin numbers as this tutorial, and make sure the CS pin in both the Animated GIFs and SD card Info program match the wiring (CS = Teensy pin 15):
