Link Evolution Data Import Down?

The download for the Link Evolution Data Import, the part of the mod that adds the campaign from Link Evolution, appears to be down. I can't seem to find any additional info or links to this part of the mod. The videos related to it also appear to be down. Will this be reuploaded or is it gone for good?

Google auto detected it as a virus due to a false positive in one of Microsoft defender's scans (they incorrectly detected a bunch of software on the same day). I assume Microsoft fixed their error but Google didn't bother to re-scan.

I've clicked the button for Google to review the file but no idea how long they take. I'll make a new link the next time I do an update if they haven't fixed it by then.

Awesome! Thanks for the update. I replied to that original Issue thread and Dm'd you on Reddit about this. In the event Google doesn't reply, could upload a mirror to MEGA, Mediafire, or even the internet archive or Dropbox. Loving your mod so far as I'm a more solo/casual Yugioh player so Im looking forward to seeing this custom campaign elevate the experience even further!

I'd just make a new google drive link. If they keep flagging it I'll just remove the exe's from the zip as they can be copied from a main release.

Oh shoot. I saw an account on Reddit discussing the mod. Thought they were you since they were uploading videos explaining how to use the mod. That's on me for assuming.

Hey Pixeltris, I don't want to be an impatient @$$ but do you think you could reupload the mod without the exe files? The Google review seems like it is going to take a while. I know it's only been a few days, but I am very excited to try out this part of the YgoMaster mod and waiting on Google to review the download link might take a few weeks as would releasing a new update (I assume anyway). If not I understand, I'll try my best to be patient and let you work in peace if you can't or just don't want to reupload it yet.

Hi! Similarly to pullen8, I've found this mod from a thread on Reddit discussing Yugioh fan games. I'd love to try the solo mode, but it seems the download has been down for two weeks.

Could you try uploading to Google Drive again? In the future, I do believe a second upload to another site like Mega would be incredibly helpful in cases such as these. It really sucks to not be able to download the project due to entirely preventable issues.

First of all, this project is really cool. I had theorized something like this: building a custom webserver and modifying the EXE. However, what strikes me even more, is the fact that you put in actual booster packs. I never liked the 'fake' booster packs. In one of the Tag Force games you can buy real booster packs and structure decks from the store with in-game currency (instead of real money; lol). I would really love to try the mod out. Such a pity I stumbled on this project at the moment the link came down :(

Pixeltris is at least aware of the issue. They're most likely busy or hard at work on this project or something else. It is funny that all of us are in the same boat lol. We all found this mod on Reddit or another site, read up on it, got super excited, but we were just a little too late. Mast Duel's Campaign mode isn't very fun to me. Just a really boring long tutorial. I also prefer real world packs and the awesome duel sim that YgoMaster turns the game into. Porting over the anime's story and decks with real life boosters is such an awesome idea.

That's my favorite Yugioh game! Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V Tag Force SPECIAL. I generally enjoy the balance of the game at the time it came out, but the real world packs were such a cool feature and I'm so sad no future game did the same thing. Tag Force SPECIAL also has the unique issue of not getting an official translation, so you're stuck with a fan translation that ruins many characters with YGOTAS references and "edgy humor." It's such a shame.

I should get the chance to update YgoMaster tomorrow and I'll re-upload the zip then. I wouldn't get your hopes up with the enjoyability of it. It's quite unfinished as mods go. But with some tweaks to the json settings it's fun to play with OG cards under PvP.

This is great news! And don't worry about that. I'm doing a challenge run in Arc-V Tag Force SPECIAL that's kinda similar because progression series things are fun, especially solo, and this project could be a great way to get others into the concept!

Honestly, I mostly play solo. Even with Master Duel (the meta, bots, and toxicity is just too much for me at times to play online). I think a proper mod can be superb. Having a more diverse campaign plus progression without the trappings of gacha games, will be a lot of fun. I play the game to unwind. The reason other free offerings do not work, has to do with the fact that all cards are unlocked by default and the AI is subpar. Master Duel is the ideal basis. Wish Konami was not Konami...Initially we all hoped it would be an updated Legacy of the Duelist, but alas, it had to go the games-as-a-service route...

Say what you will, but Master Duel being a GaaS product at least means it'll keep getting updates! Link Evolution got one big update and then was left alone. It's such a shame.

Yeah Master Duel being more like a service helps it focus on the competitive side of Yugioh too (For better or for worse depending on you feel about the meta). Definitely will have a longer life then Legacy of the Duelist even if it's offline offerings are slim without using this mod. I don't prefer GaaS models like at all but for a competitive card game I see why it was chosen.
