Could someone help me in resolving the below error? I tried referring to the link but didn't see how to solve this problem: 1

Someone else had that error. I think that is a specific duel with a model they removed from the game. Avatar/mate in 1000004 in 200117.json. I'll try to remember to update that duel when I next update the data files.

After conducting some tests, I believe the issue stems from inconsistency between the language settings of the game and those used when loading with YgoMaster.

You can try the following steps:

  1. Launch the game via Steam and change the language to English.
  2. Launch the game again via Steam to ensure all language files are fully downloaded.
  3. Next, load the game using YgoMaster (the game should start normally at this point).
  4. Change the language settings to your desired language, for example, Chinese, from within the game.
  5. Return to the startup page; you should receive a prompt indicating a file loading error.
  6. Subsequently, launch the game via Steam and change the language to Chinese.
  7. Once all language files are fully downloaded, you should be able to load the game using YgoMaster.

Yea this doesn't work properly anymore in YgoMaster. It used to but not anymore. The best way to ensure everything is working correctly is to set the language in under Steam and then copy the LocalSave folder as mentioned in the docs.

I tried copying the LocalSave folder, but I still encountered errors. The method mentioned above resolved my issue.

It should be the same thing but more susceptible to error in the way you described. The LocalSave contains all the necessary setting data. Could add your steps to the instructions as an alternative for anyone who cant get it working though.

I've removed the bad mate from 200117.json in v1.44
