It takes a little longer than 2 seconds to load here. I think that's because I
enabled the model-cache (this greatly speeds up model loading).
In the final build we should bamify all models and I'll enable the model cache 
on
Linux by default in 1.7.0.

Good idea on the cache. Too long to load is from my point of view - just timed 
the
test level at 50 seconds, and its only going to get slower. Of course, those 
tricks
will speed it all up dramatically, this is more a point of irritation when 
testing
for me! I'll leave this issue here for now, but its quite possible I will 
ultimately
close it without doing anything.
