Provide UVA Library patrons with a live, anonymized, count of patrons occupiying various study rooms at various library locations in order to find an unoccupied space to study.

An enclosed Raspberry Pi-based laser pointer receiver (and corresponding, stand-alone and enclosed laser pointer) with code that will count "one" every time the beam is broken. This count will be sent, via wifi, to a database or spreadsheet file.
