Take a look at the project map setting - Symbology for unsent data:
It could be that the symbology is coming from the button, or layer. If you want the old behaviour, make sure the setting is set to default.
Testing unsent records settings released in March 2024: Version 1.19.12 March 2024 "Unsent records can be symbolized to match either button icons, or symbology from the target layer."

@JohnHasthorpe - thank you for the prompt reply, and for pointing this setting out! After some brief testing, it looks like the behavior we want and expect was derived from setting this option to Layer. It was originally set to Default.
This has been immediately implemented in the RST QuickCapture project, Sandbox and Deployment.
Test the WAS QuickCapture project for expected behavior and functionality. Ensure the Symbology for unsent data (Beta) setting is appropriate.

In previous projects, our tracklog appears as a green dashed line. In one of our newer projects where we just added Tracklogs buttons - the line appears a white dashed line. This may be a feature, not a bug. But we want to figure out why it is happening, so we know how to explain it to users.
