Use in existing app? #47

Hello. I just came across this and it seems to be working really good on Mavericks! Thanks for putting it together pje, it's exactly what I was looking for.

Something I am wondering:

How would I go about using / adding this functionality to another app. I am making something that builds upon this to do more than just record audio, but this seems to be the best solution for audio and I would like to include it with it.

If you can shed any light or even just point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Thanks a lot!

Hey @Jonovono! Without knowing exactly what you're trying to do, I'd say modifying WavTap is probably not your best bet. Usually when people want to make point-to-point audio connections between known apps, they turn to something like the venerable jack.

Hey thanks! I was able to add your project to mine, although maybe it's not the best route to go, but it works for me. If you are interested in seeing how I am using it my project is : https://github.com/Jonovono/cutter. Basically it builds upon WavTap and allows you to make selection screen shots, record from webcam, and mix and match all the different types of audio/video.
