A lot of organic materials templates have COLDDAM_POINT far below their vanilla levels and below temperatures that are likely to be experienced in game. Vanilla organic materials all seem to have [COLDDAM_POINT:9900] while masterwork materials vary:
Wood has [COLDDAM_POINT:9001]
Skin has [COLDDAM_POINT:9901] making it one of the few body parts that does take damage,
SKINFOUR_TEMPLATE has [COLDDAM_POINT:9200]
SKINFIVE_TEMPLATE has [COLDDAM_POINT:9000]
Fur has [COLDDAM_POINT:9900] meaning it's one of the few clothing materials that gets damaged by the cold, the opposite of it's intended use
Most other body part materials in material_template_default.txt have [COLDDAM_POINT:8900]
