Ghosts can spread diseases #40

They probably shouldn't.

This cant be affected through modding in any way, you might as well delete this. Ghost mages can cast spells, ghost lifemancer will resurrect your dead dwarves, and ghost werebeasts will still transform, ghost necromancers will raise dead. Toady has to fix that, not we.

Are diseases just syndromes? If so, couldn't we do a periodic sweep and remove them from ghosts using DFHack?

In theory, maybe. They are syndromes that enable different kinds of interactions. But even sick ghosts can heal over time. I think when diseases are balanced, it will not be an issue.
