The harmonize_raws
branch ( https://github.com/pjf/masterwork-dwarf-fortress/tree/harmonize_raws ), which is also merged into unified, represents a current work-in-progress here.
Noting harmonize_raws is now merged into master.
There's still work to do here, but we've managed to get a lot of things matching up between tilesets.
In theory, there should be no gameplay differences based which graphic set is used. In practice, there is.

show-tileset-diffs.pl
script can already detect differences between them.
