Integrated Dynamics mostly adds programmable network thingies to automate things. It still adds a few materials though, none of them are really expensive but encouraging diversity in tree farms is nice.

Menril Trees spawn in the world, they have very pretty wood and also drop Menril Berries from their leaves (more common than Apples from Oaks).

You can turn this wood into Menril Resin (a fluid) in the Squeezer (automatable at a RF cost through the mechanical one) which you can then turn into Crystalized Menril in various forms using the Drying Basin (again, mechanical one uses RF to be automated).

Similarly you can do Chorus Fruit -> Liquid Chorus -> Crystalized Chorus. Nothing in here is hard to automate or really expensive once you get your first tree (or get to the End).
