Anything in bold is added by the mod.

Salty Mod mostly adds Salt, you can find it as an ore or in lakes or with the Evaporator. You can make a lot of food with it (see on the wiki it's easier).

Other than that, you can find Saltwort around those lakes and grow it using salt for more foods. The Escargot is the only stand out food since to get it you need to kill Slimes with Salt Crystals in hand, which are harder to grow. Every other food is just throwing ingredients together.
