question/suggestion - use Title or a less visible EXIF attribute instead of a Tag to track file name? #13

It seems to me the use of Tags for this purpose is very messy, as spurious tags 
start appearing in any software (including flickr) that produces Tag Clouds, 
etc. Would it be possible to use the Title or some other EXIF attribute (like 
the MakerNotes or Application field) instead of a Tag?
