Hello,
Recently, I've took out an old Rainbow 100 computer with an VR201 and lk201 keyboard from my basement. After trying to boot it up i was given an keyboard error 13. After I disconnected membrane ribbons from keyboard's electronics the computer booted normally, which most likely means shorted membrane, which is apparently impossible to repair.
Trying to find solution to my problem i have found this project. Because Adafruit Trinket M0 is almost imposible to get in my country without paying huge shipping costs for an international courier delivery I tried to make PS/2 version of your project. I don't have an Itsy Bitsy but i have a arduino micro which uses the same exact processor. After wiring it to PS/2 keyboard and the Rainbow through ADM232 chip(I connected everything according to the schematic except i changed PS/2 keyboard pins (physically and in the code) from 11 and 12 to 5 and 6 because there's no pin 11 on my arduino micro) I powered it up but it gives me keyboard error 13. I don't know what to do anymore.
