Internal server error: too many #237

After the installation and after a couple of days I have this error

Internal Server Error.

In the log I've noted this error

Too many open files: couldn't set child process attributes: 
/usr/local/google-sitemap-generator/admin-console/cgi-bin/admin-console.cgi

To solve I have to restar apache but after a couple of days the same error is 
displayed.

Any idea to solve the problem? What I've done wrong in the installation o in 
the configuration.
