- If black/deep dark color is chosen as primary, hovering nav-items makes the nav labels unreadable.
- With white color as primary, links are becoming indistinguishable from the regular text. E.g., take a look at the submission page, "make a new submission..." part under the header.

Mostly simplify text and link styles to make sure the contrast is sufficient everywhere, whatever theme colour has been selected by the user. Removing some obsolete styles & harmonising texts and buttons so that there are not too many styles for the same elements in order to allow for easier / more fancy styling (e.g. for links: need to think of a more interesting and nice way to display them than just a bottom border).
