Consider limiting a number of customizable colors #8

@Vitaliy-1 should we close this issue, since we decided it was not worth having a limited number of customisable colours - users should be able to choose whichever colours they want.

see above comment and issue #38 - let’s try to accommodate as many different user-selected colours as possible!
