Describe the problem you would like to solve Recipients of emails sent by a journal want to know what journal the email is related to. There have been suggestions to include the journal initials in every email subject. This can work, but it can also be cumbersome to add these details to every email template.

Describe the solution you'd like If possible, include information about the journal in the sender information of the email, so that it appears in recipients' inboxes are part of the from content.

Some suggested approaches would be to have From/Reply-To statements like this:

From: Nate Wright for JPK
From: Nate Wright for Journal of Public Knowledge
From: Nate Wright, JPK

Here's an example of how it would show up in a Gmail inbox:

from-header

With this approach, emails affected in this way could have an easily configurable From statement that would allow a journal to customize how such emails would be received. Any email sent from a specific person, but through the OJS system, could be treated this way.

Thumbs up for this feature. The journal initials in brackets were used in OJS email subjects back in the old days of the 2.4 version.
