PreferenceRecorder not documented #118

I didn't realise it had this feature until AFTER I installed it.

I almost didn't install this as I wasn't expecting it to be that useful due to 
what looked like a hard syntax to learn for adding preferences.

I could easily have dismissed this as unsuitable

This could easily be fixed if the preference recording functionality was easier 
to discover. e.g.:

* Described on the Home Page
* Described on the Overview page
* Described on the GettingStarted page
* The wiki page for it appeared in the "Pages that might interest you" list on 
the home page!
