Installation in Forge #363

I would think that since Forge is based on A1111, the installation would work, but I am running into a problem. After installing from the extensions tab, I reload as usual (even closing the app down completely and restarting everything) but whenever Forge loads, the Tiled Diffusion tab is missing, and when I go back to the Extensions tab it remains unchecked, no matter if I check it again (see screenshot) Screenshot 2024-03-12 081052

Confirming same issue.

LiJT commented 6 months ago

Yes! Seems like the Forge author disable this addon on purpose

Vigilence commented 6 months ago

Its disabled on purpose since people keep asking about this extension more then everything else.

I tried a more updated fork with Demofusion, and it did all show up in Forge, but noise inversion is broken https://github.com/Jaylen-Lee/multidiffusion-demofusion-for-automatic1111

I managed to get parts of it running within ForgeUI just by renaming the folder.

So install multidiffusion-upscaler-for-automatic1111 as you normally would do (extensions tab). Go to Forge's install location, extensions folder and rename the folder "multidiffusion-upscaler-for-automatic1111" to e.g. "multidiffusion-upscaler-forge". Deactivate forge's built in multidiffusion (through extensions tab) and restart WebUI. Now you see the renamed extension activated.

Unfortunately I had no luck with Noise Inversion or Regional Prompt Control. But Tiled Upscale (img2img) works great especially in combination with ControlNet Tile I get very good results.

Btw: Has someone any luck with any regional prompting? Non of the extensions I tried would work.
