Could a central market be created to encourage trading? This could allow players to not only sell items via TM but also ask for certain items. Ideally using the existing AI planets such as DeLambert. These could be neutral and all players could buy and sell by sending ships of goods to market. Bartering and bidding could also be introduced. This would make an expanse wide economy. Certain ores, food supplies, etc being available only on certain planet types would increase or decrease their value dependent on availability at the market planets.
