3 years ago That's a bit out of scope for this app. I'm planning to write an another app of 'give Spotify link and get genres'. You can do this with the API though.
The Problem is, most tracks don't have genres defined. If you don't have track genre, you go for the album genre. If you don't have the album genre defined, you go for the linked artist's genre.
I was trying to find out all the genres a song I was listening to belongs to but I have so many genres that it will take to long to look through all of them. I wish there was a search bar to type in a song and find all the genres it belongs too.
