Cosmo: When CODI "turn off" (silver) button is pressed, keep CODI off for all but important notifications. #2

Disclaimer: "Turning CODI off" doesn't need to mean literal off, but whatever the silver button does now when pressed.

Current behavior: when "turn CODI off" aka the silver button is pressed, CODI does turn off as expected, but it turn again on from any notification.

Desired behavior: when "turn CODI off" button is pressed, CODI turns off and stays off despite any "normal" notification coming in. CODI should only wake up for important events, like alarm clock or incoming call and such. Of course second pressing of the button wakes CODI up to act as usual.

Currently CODI is kinda useless as when I go to sleep, Cosmo lights up like X-mas tree when instant messages arrives or youtube has new video and so forth.

I've had to turn CODI off completely due to battery drain and rely on my smartwatch for notifications.
