partly related to #22 - i actually was able to fix 22 quickly locally (prior to your commit) but then thought i was going crazy...
if you have a number of layers enough to cause scrolling in the initial 'all layers' view, switch to another view (like tiles) and then back to 'all layers'. Scrolling is broken and it appears there are fewer layers than before.
Interestingly, if I flip the phone sideways, it works again. I tried a few things and managed to get debugging going but not able to solve it.
