I guess these changes wont work against QGIS master_2...

Thank you Joana for this PR, we still thinking how to manage a fork for Py3/qt5. Better an opinion by @volaya to create a 3.0 branch or snapshot master branch as 2.0 and leave master for 3.0 dev.
