Error saving metadata edit to a layer #149

Steps to recreate:

Right-click on vector_without_metadata layer item in the QGIS project entry in the OpenGeo Explorer, and select "Edit/View metadata".

Find the Identification information/Md_DataIdentification/Citation/CI_Citation/Title element in the metadata tree. A text box will be shown where the value of the element can be entered. Enter a definition for the layer metadata.

Click on File/Save to save the metadata. Close the editor.

Expected result: On opening the metadata editor again, the Metadata file identifier element should have the value that was entered

Actual result: The Metadata file identifier element is empty

fixed. It was only happening if the change had been done in the current element, since it was not updating it
