Geocoding button disappear in EDGE if location is not enable on Win 10 machine

When I click the geolocation button using EDGE I get a message saying the following:

At the same time, the geolocation button just disappears.

Clicking the open settings button send me here:

If I turn the location on, and reload the app, this does not happen.

on geolocation error we hide the button indeed

so what is the issue here? I think this is by design
