A one or two sentence answer to each of the following questions
What experience do you have building websites?
I have not come into contact with the art of building a website from the ground up, but have some experience with customizing HTMLs for blogging sites like Tumblr or Wix. Blog building could be a step in the right direction of designing a website and its entirety so incorporating my past knowledge and, most importantly, the knowledge I will gain in my classes will help me expand in the fundamentals of web building.
What software experience do you currently have?
In my senior year at high school, I took a class in Digital Art and acquired a certificate for Adobe Photoshop and took part in my school's Poster Band project using Illustrator. I previously helped my uncle design an online campaign for his business Max Muscle ™ using both softwares.
What are some of your strongest soft skills (read this)?
Because of the advancement of technology, my dad (who is a great graphic designer) knew very little of computer design but taught me to value the practice of just using basic hands-on tools. Under his tutelage, I have developed Fine Art skills such as sketching, painting, and comic illustration, just to name a few.
Where do you see yourself working after you complete your studies?
My goal is to be the source of creativity for others and help those who have trouble finding out what they want the face of their company, brand, or even themselves to appear to others. The world of design is advancing, and I want to be part of that ever-changing world. Being a Graphic Designer would be my dream and I hope it becomes my reality.
